El paradigma de los espejos enfrentados. The Paradigm of opposing mirrors.
EL PROYECTO SUEÑOS es una inmersión en el mundo de los sueños y una reflexión visual sobre aquello que llamamos realidad. En su primera lectura, el espectador se encuentra simplemente frente a una ensoñación del autor. La mujer dormida, una mujer envuelta en sus propios sueños.
THE DREAMS PROJECT plunges into the world of dreams and that we call reality. On a first reading the viewer finds itself facing the author’s daydream. The sleeping woman, a woman immersed on her own dreams.
Pero hay una segunda lectura: La mujer se encuentra inmersa en su “paisaje onírico” mientras sueña que alguien la está observando. El espectador no es sino un personaje más dentro del sueño de la mujer dormida. Y me pregunto: ¿a qué lado del espejo se encuentra la realidad? ¿Somos acaso nada más que elementos dentro de los sueños de alguien?
But there is a second reading: The viewer sees a woman immersed on her own dream and she dreams that somebody is watching her from behind. The viewer is nothing but a character playing his/her role on the course of the woman’s dreams. My question is: on which side of the mirror is reality to be found? Are we nothing but characters on somebody’s dream?
